- Ground and lapped
- Hardened to 58-62 HRC
- Diameter 0.300 mm to 0.999 mm with length 40 mm; from diameter 1.000 mm with length 70 mm
- From diameter 3.00 mm: Side 1 with 45° chamfer; diameter specification on end face
- diameter from 1.5 mm to 2.999 mm: Side 1 with 45° chamfer; diameter specification on cylindrical surface
- diameter from 1.00 mm to 1.499 mm: : Side 1 with 45° chamfer; without diameter specification
- Up to 0.999 mm: both sides sharp-edged, deburred; without diameter specification
