The ATORN hard drill with internal cooling offers you the highest quality and performance even in particularly difficult to machine, high-strength and hardened steels from 46–60 HRC. With the help of the innovative TiAlSiN coating, it guarantees maximum process reliability and a long service life. The modern cemented carbide substrate significantly reduces the number of breakouts during use. The internal cooling also contributes to the process reliability and provides for optimum chip removal.

ATORN hard drills without internal cooling for extreme conditions up to 65 HRC

If the situation is really tough, use the ATORN hard drill 3xD and 5xD without internal cooling. The reinforced core, the stable concave cutting edge and the lack of internal cooling make it extremely stable and suitable for frequent drilling under particularly extreme conditions up to 65 HRC.
