Application

SWISSCUT ORTHO SX is a chlorine- and heavy metal-free cutting oil. It meets the highest demands for machining various materials and effortlessly handles extreme production conditions. SWISSCUT ORTHO SX cutting oil is light in colour with low evaporation and mild odour and, even in unfavourable working conditions, does not foam or produce excessive oil mist.

Application:


Material: steel, alloyed and high-alloy steels, stainless steel, machining steel, nickel-based alloys, titanium and aluminium. Not suitable for non-ferrous base metals.
Machining: turning, milling, drilling, deep-hole boring, broaching, reaming, hobbing, gear shaping, scraping and tooth flank grinding

  • Flash point 160 °C
  • based on mineral oils with low aromatic content
