Application
The tried-and-tested three-stage AutoCut system from Berg & Schmid offers more power automatically. The "AutoCut" system consists of a hydraulic cylinder, feed control, spring kits and a limit switch.
Execution
- Three-stage system: - Automatic saw frame lowering via the hydraulic cylinder, infinitely adjustable feed, with limit switch at end of cut
- High-speed lowering of the saw frame from the rest position to the workpiece, thereupon switching to standard saw feed (e.g. for travel)
- Manual mode where the hydraulic cylinder acts as a brake cylinder (e.g. for unlatching). The brake cylinder enables the saw to be located in any position for the return stroke. - cutting speeds of 35 + 70 m/min. or infinitely variable cutting speed of 30–80 m/min. via frequency converter (on request)
