Consisting of a glass fabric backing and a thermosetting rubber-resin adhesive, 365 glass fabric tape is an excellent choice for applications requiring high adhesion for a variety of surfaces. It is particularly well suited for bonding many materials with rough surfaces or low internal strength, such as roofing felts and textiles. The 3M (TM) Glass Fabric Tape 365 has a rubber-resin adhesive that provides good initial adhesion and high bond strength. When subjected to a thermoset cycle, it cross-links and provides adhesion and bonding strength as well as higher heat resistance. Thermosetting is often achieved by ironing or heating the backing after the tape has been applied. High adhesion is achieved by optimizing the time, temperature and pressure of the heat applied.
