3M (TM) Aluminum Adhesive Tape 426 is suitable for numerous applications in a variety of industries. Made from a soft aluminum backing, this conformable tape features a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. The soft, aluminum foil-reinforced 3M (TM) Aluminum Tape 426 reflects heat and light to protect against high temperatures and UV radiation. The film also provides an excellent barrier against moisture, dust, flames and certain chemicals used in aircraft paint removal. The acrylic adhesive offers very good temperature, UV and solvent resistance. The tape is characterized by excellent ageing properties and is ideal for long-term outdoor applications.
