Application
The Micro MS 3.0 has been developed for gently shrinking thin-walled shrink-fit chucks. The precisely adapted energy input effectively controls the performance of the shrinking process and thereby provides constant protection against overheating of the shrink-fit chuck. The appropriate parameter sets are stored in the device for different chuck contours.
Execution
- The MS 3.0 has been specifically developed for slim, thin-walled and extremely short shrink-fit chucks.
- Standard chucks can be shrunk to dia. 16 mm.
- The adjustable generator output gently heats the chucks.
- For carbide shanks: For shrink-fit chucks with standard geometry, suitable for dia. 3-16 mm. For shrink-fit chucks with slim geometry, suitable for dia. 3-20 mm.
- For HSS shanks, suitable for dia. 6-16 mm.
- TER11-TER20 shrink collet chucks can be shrunk.
- Maximum shrink length of 250 mm.
Advantage
- A new type of air cooler or the FKS 04S liquid cooler is available as an auxiliary device for cooling heated tool holders.
