3M (TM) Ventilation Tape 3294 has a pink, non-woven, synthetic backing with a strip-coated, pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive for use in various venting applications requiring high outgassing rates. 3M (TM) Ventilation Tape 3294 is manufactured to meet various high outgassing requirements for foam insulation processes in the appliance and other industries. The acrylic adhesive is strip coated so that uncoated areas have higher permeability to minimize foam voids. The non-woven, synthetic backing is conformable with good burst strength for an effective seal and minimal foam voids to reduce cleanup. Recommended applications: To allow containment and outgassing of foam insulation.
