The 3M (TM) Flap Disc 769F is an adaptable and versatile flap disc that offers superior performance and durability. Proven to outperform conventional zirconia alumina flap discs, our abrasive disc uses 3M (TM) Precision Molded Grain. The abrasive continuously breaks up into sharp-edged structures that glide cleanly through the metal instead of plowing through surfaces like conventional abrasives. This breaking up and the breaking up of individual flaps, releasing fresh abrasive, ensures a consistent removal rate over the lifetime of the wheel. The polyester backing improves durability. This and its adaptability make the flap disc suitable for applications with high contact pressure such as chamfering, grinding weld seams and deburring.
