The Scotch-Brite (TM) DF-BL non-woven tape is ideal for deburring, matting and finishing all stainless steel and steel components as well as removing tarnish. The application of a defined finish on large surfaces and the reduction of roughness depth is also guaranteed with this non-woven tape. This tape is also used for applications on wood and plastics. The tear-resistant, flexible design of the nonwoven product is characterized by its special edge stability and delivers very good results on tightly rounded shapes. The low-stretch backing is particularly suitable for heavy loads and is ideal for use as a file belt, for example. The even distribution of the abrasive mineral guarantees a longer service life and consistent work results at all times. Thanks to the fiber fleece technology, an even, reproducible surface finish is produced without changing the geometry of the workpiece. Working speeds of up to 30 m/s are possible and it is also very suitable for reworking pre-grinding with 3M (TM) Cubitron (TM) II abrasives.
