The Scotch-Brite (TM) Strong Edge non-woven disc combines an aggressive non-woven disc for heavy deburring and finishing work with a convenient hook and loop fastening system. Our disc uses aluminum oxide abrasive for fast stock removal and fibers that conform well to preserve edges and contoured surfaces. Use 3M (TM) Scotch-Brite (TM) SE non-woven disc with aluminum oxide abrasive for efficient deburring, sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is a preferred choice of many industry professionals due to its high removal rate and long life. The tips and edges of the durable abrasive break off during use, resulting in continuously fresh cutting edges. In contrast to conventional abrasives, such as garnet, this extends the service life. It generates very little heat build-up and is ideal for sanding and finishing applications. Our aluminum oxide abrasive discs are suitable for a wide range of surfaces in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.
