It has a specially developed, impact-resistant backing that is resistant to common blasting media such as aluminum oxide, cast steel, glass beads and plastics. The 3M (TM) Sandblasting Masking Tape 500 is easy to process and cut. This makes it suitable for fine line marking of fine details or for creating small markings. The protective cover is made of silver-coated paper and is easy to remove, making the product very suitable for the production of die-cut parts. The acrylic adhesive ensures strong adhesion to many surfaces such as metal, glass, wood and many plastics and has a temperature application range of +40° C to +120° C. The adhesive and rubber backing ensure clean, one-piece removal with minimal cleaning.
