The 3M (TM) Acetate Fabric Tape 28 is a 0.20 mm thick and aesthetically pleasing insulating tape. This tape is highly conformable and is used for wrapping cable coils. Suitable for a temperature range of 40 to 105 °C. 3M (TM) Tape 28 is printable and has an aggressive, thermosetting rubber-resin adhesive that provides good adhesion. The acetate fabric backing has excellent absorption of lacquers and resins. It can be torn off by hand and is used for bundling cable harnesses. RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant.
