3M (TM) Polyimide Insulating Tape 1218 is a high temperature insulating tape suitable for electrical applications that require a thin, tough insulating material for wrapping capacitors, coils or wire harnesses. The tape has a polyimide film backing that provides superior resistance to heat and solvents. This tape is rated for 600 V and can withstand temperatures up to 180 °C. 3M (TM) Polyimide Insulation Tape 1218 has a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive that provides high tack and long life. It is suitable as a cover material for many flexible printed circuit boards. UL listed and RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant.
