3M (TM) Dual Lock (TM) Removable fastening system DL170/GT6008. Dual Lock with an Acrylic Foam Tape GT6008. Adhesive tape thickness: 0.8 mm. Self-adhesive, good initial and final adhesion to a wide range of paint systems and surfaces. Dual Lock is an excellent alternative to conventional fastening methods such as screwing, riveting etc. The removable fastening system consists of a polyolefin carrier with small hemispherical heads on short stems. Pressing two components together creates a stable, resilient and removable fastener. This flexible fastening system has vibration-damping properties. It attaches a wide variety of components such as headliners, center consoles, interior trim etc. with ease. The temperature resistance is between -40 °C and +120 °C.
