Application
Corrosion protection additive (elma-KS) is a liquid, mildly alkaline corrosion inhibitor that can be added to the cleaning or rinsing bath. It is suitable for use as a corrosion inhibitor for metallic materials that are sensitive to corrosion, such as steel, grey cast iron and tungsten carbide. These materials are coated with a molecular layer of protection that temporarily protects against corrosion. Subsequent coating (PVD, CVD) or hardening processes (plasma nitriding and carbonitriding) are not affected when used as intended.
