Vacuum clamping system with set of adapter mats

Application

For clamping workpieces by means of vacuum. Wide range of workpiece shapes can be clamped. For grinding, milling, drilling and 5-sided machining including all breakouts. VAC-MAT is a thin, soft plastic mat with 77 vacuum holes, suction cups in various sizes with elastic lips on the top and fine bore holes in the centre. The underside features protruding plastic lugs for positioning the VAC-MAT on the vacuum clamping plate.

• Significantly reduced setup times with reclamping of workpieces within a few seconds, as sealing cords do not need to be inserted.
• Gentle contact surface for the workpiece; clamping surfaces are not damaged.
• Surfaces are not scratched.
• No special fixture is required.
• Unevenness on the workpiece clamping surface is sealed by means of the elastic sealing cords. Up to 0.5 mm of unevenness or curvature can be compensated for with the sealing cord.
• The modular structure makes it possible to connect several vacuum plates across all patterns. Here, the operating vacuum of the individual plates comes from the connection elements.
