Application

The moisture content of the sample is reduce due to drying at higher temperatures. Reducing the liquid content in the sample results in a loss of weight. The device uses the weight loss to determine the original moisture content. Moisture analyser with high-quality single-cell weighing system for outstanding stability, reliability and response speed for samples with low moisture content, e.g. plastics

• Halogen quartz glass heater 400 W
• Excellent temperature control thanks to halogen technology, suitable for temperature-sensitive samples
• Internal memory for the automatic execution of 10 drying programmes and 100 drying processes
• The last measured value remains on the display until it is overwritten by a new measurement
• Password protection to avoid tampering with stored settings, data etc.
• Sample description for up to 99 samples, 2 digits, freely programmable, printed in the measurement log
• Date and time display as standard feature
• Drying modes: Standard drying, phase drying, gentle drying, rapid drying
• Switch-off criteria: Automatic unrestricted switch-off (selectable loss in weight 0.01-0.1 % in 30 s), time-controlled switch-off (1 min to 12 h), manual switch-off at the press of a button
• USB data interface for transferring weighing data to PC or printer (only usable in conjunction with KERN DBS-A02 accessories)
