Metal circular saws

HSS: Metal circular saws made of HSS are suitable for materials up to a strength of 1,000N/mm². Because of its flexible properties, HSS is particularly suitable for use in unstable machine conditions. Only low cutting speeds can be achieved with an HSS cutting material.

HSSE: Metal circular saws made of HSSE are suitable for materials up to a strength of 1,300N/mm². An added amount of cobalt allows even difficult materials to be processed. Compared to the HSS circular saw band, slightly higher cutting speeds can be used.

Solid carbide: Metal circular saws of solid carbide can be used in all materials. Solid carbide has a high bending strength and is therefore particularly suitable for precise saw cuts.

Tool steel saw bands, made of carbon steel, are suitable for easy to machine materials.

Bimetal saw bands, consisting of a welded band back and hardened tooth tips, are suitable for higher processing speeds compared to tool steel saw bands. At the same time, the welded tooth tips enable the processing of difficult materials.

Carbide tipped saw bands consist of a band back on which the solid carbide teeth are placed. With such a band saw blade the highest cutting speeds can be achieved and a wide range of materials can be cut.
