The reason why pneumoconiosis is so dangerous is that it begins insidiously and those affected do not notice the first signs until years later, often not until retirement age. The first signs can be shortness of breath during physical exertion, a prolonged cough of unknown cause or even pneumonia.

WHICH FILTER CLASS DO I NEED?
The filter class depends on the hazardous substance and its concentration. If the hazardous substance is a solid or liquid particle, you need filter classes FFP1, FFP2 or FFP3. The higher the filter class, the higher the filter performance. If the hazardous substance is a gas or a vapour, you need filter classes A, B, E, K, etc. If both particles and gases or vapours are present, you will need a combined gas and particle filter.
