Which pane color do I need for which area?
Clear: Protection against mechanical hazards without glare. Suitable for indoor work.
Yellow: Protection against mechanical hazards without glare, with contrast enhancement. Suitable for outdoor work in fog or at dusk.
Gray: Protection against mechanical hazards and against natural glare with signal color recognition. Suitable for outdoor work.
Brown: Protection against mechanical hazards and against natural glare with signal color recognition, with contrast enhancement. Suitable for outdoor work.
CBR 65: Protection against mechanical hazards. The tint has a contrast-enhancing effect, reduces blue light and thus ensures relaxed and concentrated vision.
ARE THERE SPECIAL SAFETY GLASSES FOR WEARERS OF GLASSES?
Yes, there are. There are two different options: Either provide your employee with over-the-eye glasses (also called OTG safety glasses) or prescription safety glasses. Over-glasses can be worn by your employee over their prescription glasses. The advantage is that it's a cost-effective option; the disadvantage is that the lenses can fog up. Prescription safety glasses, on the other hand, are a combination of safety and prescription glasses. The advantage is that your employee wears the prescription safety glasses all day long, no lenses fog up, no feeling of pressure due to two temples, etc. The price is much higher compared to the over-glasses.
