X-LOCK is an innovative angle grinder system that allows you to change accessories with just one click - 100% tool-free!
Instead of many small steps with losable parts such as clamping nuts, flanges and wrenches with a lot of effort, changing is now much easier and faster. Changing tools is now just as convenient as changing batteries. Thanks to the X-LOCK technology, the necessary accessories can always be changed easily, quickly and safely - whether with gloves or without - and completely without tools.
Position the disc in the X-LOCK holder, click it on and you're done. The clicking noise gives the user the certainty that the accessory is correctly positioned on the device and reliably locked. If a disc needs to be changed, it is simply unlocked and removed using a lever.
While the machine is in operation, a patented mechanism prevents the disc from being released. This means that seized nuts after the disc is jammed are a thing of the past. Also the rare phenomenon of loose nuts on the angle grinder is now a thing of the past with the X-LOCK.
Furthermore, the X-LOCK system is completely downward compatible. This means that the ATORN X-LOCK accessories can also be mounted on any conventional angle grinder - double stock-keeping is no longer necessary.

Can I use my X-LOCK accessories for my conventional angle grinders?
Yes, all our ATORN X-LOCK accessories are compatible with conventional angle grinders.
Can I use my existing accessories for my X-LOCK angle grinder?
This is not possible, as the accessories require an appropriate X-LOCK interface.
Is the X-LOCK system really safe?
Yes, X-LOCK has been successfully subjected to numerous durability and extreme load tests.
How can the disc hold if it is not bolted?
The unique X-LOCK mechanism ensures that the washer is reliably mounted on the tool - even without flange, nut and wrench. When the washer is clicked in, the clamping jaws and thus the system are locked.
Can the washer release while the machine is running?
A patented mechanism prevents opening while the machine is in operation.
Can I accidentally mount the X-LOCK accessories incorrectly?
No, X-LOCK accessories - unlike to conventional accessories - cannot be mounted incorrectly.
