Freedom of design, conservation of resources, sustainability, environmental friendliness – when it comes to the advantages of additive manufacturing, also known as 3D printing, the list is endless. 3D printing is a design-focused manufacturing process that offers many companies a high degree of design freedom, even when creating customised products for customers.

1521-B1:/ALT Product Teaser/Multirap_M800.jpgWe offer the Multirap M10, M500 and M800 MULTEC 3D printers. The patented quadruple print head Multex4Move enables clean colour separation and drip-free multi-material prints for the first time. Using different nozzle sizes allows a much faster print speed, As a specialist and driver of innovation in the field of the Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) 3D printing process, MULTEX is a reliable partner for the future and was awarded the Deutscher Industriepreis in 2017 for its patented Multex4Move print head.Be inspired by exciting products for additive manufacturing from HAHN+KOLB!

Innovative print head

Innovativer Druckkopf
The patented Multex4Move print head unit for industrial applications enables you to use up to four different materials or pigments at the same time. A variety of nozzle sizes makes constructing a model fast and drip-free.

Printing bed levelling

Druckbett

The MultiSense printing bed levelling system measures and levels the printing bed fully automatically. This ensures that the distance between the nozzle and the print bed remains consistent across the whole X/Y plane, guaranteeing a clean print result.

Your benefits:
  • Innovative Multex4Move print head unit for fast, precise 3D printing
  • Additive FDM® or FFF technology
  • Solid machine construction with high-quality components
  • Maximum freedom of design when creating models
  • Wide range of filaments depending on the application

FFF technology (Fused Filament Fabrication)

The FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) process constructs the parts to be produced in layers. The raw material for printing (the filament) is heated up to an almost liquid physical state and pressed through a nozzle (extruder). The model constructs the thin threads that are produced in layers on a heatable printing bed. This means that a model can be constructed from different materials, pigments and layer thicknesses depending on the number of nozzles. Filling or supporting material support the printing process. The supporting material is removed once the model is completed. The components produced can be extremely strong, dimensionally stable and durable, for example, depending on the filament used. They are equally suitable for use as display models, functional prototypes or complex finished parts in individual production, series production or spare part production.
